Birthday gift for 5yo boy that will be cool for him but but annoy his parents..?
Likes Dr Who and the spin offs but his folks get him everything going from those so looking for inspiration for something a bit different, any clues from those in the know..?

Big tool kit - imagine how much fun he'd have dismantling everything in the house, then how much fun the parents would have trying to put the Plasma TV back together !

You can get a USB digital drum kit at Maplin now which is pretty cheap, its silent in opperation though, just need headphones... BUT... His parents would **** the bed when you tell them you got him a drum kit!

get him a full size dalek for in the house, that will really annoy the hell out of his parents, and they will be forced upstairs out of his way (as we know Daleks cant go up stairs)
