LOL, sorry must have missed this. I did read about the worse place to live last week, but not the best

I did do a quick search, but couldn't find anything

Perhaps one of you fine chaps can point me to the thread in question

Best place to live is our road. Zero crime, most people have a degree or two and all you can see if sheep, cows and sea

Best place to live is a bit further west than Edinburgh, ie my street, again Zero crime, brilliant neighbours, I don't need to lock the house up all the time, also can leave the windows down on the cars if/when hot and not peeing down, no one goes near them. Deffo my neighbourhood is teh best, I love living here

Difficult to beat the South West for scenery, very little crime, slightly warmer weather generally, and very pleasant people.

Les,

you missed out the bit about roads more clogged than an artery of a clotted cream tester

I also have say from my regular trips to Devon I seem to have avoided the famously warmer weather. My experience has always been damp and cloudy! I understand the theory, just not the practice

My recollection of that program is that it was Edinburgh at no.1 , and most of Surrey was the rest of the top ten.

Everywhere else was in the 'worst' list...
