Smart ***** and know it alls, meet their match...
.. here.. Hi newbie with a vauxhall nova - Drifting forum - Driftworks
Some who use other forums might know Chip already, so you can be sure there is some humour ahead.
But what happens when a Nova owner joins a drift forum for some advice on drifting his Nova..
Naturally a few were quick to point out that factory Nova's are FWD..

Was that the black Nova?
Hilarious story about that and being stuck in France with it as they refused to let him on the train to come back home.

Yep was the original black one
I went to the second WW's but it just wasnt the same, the first one was awesome, it just went down hill from there has it became more and more commercial.

He was sent off to buy a ferry ticket and come home that way, arriving home about 4 hours after everyone else. About 20 of us in cars had gone to Calais for the night
When he got off the ferry Kent Police traffic division were waiting for him to check the legality of the car to be on the road.
As for WW, shame really, it had all the right ideas, but never came through. Best of British was one of the best "legal cruises" I ever went to

Not really.
I was expecting something hilariously amusing rather than someone deliberately setting out to mislead (or troll) . If was pointed out enough times at the beginning of the thread that it must be RWD. But the OP just ignored that he had been outed.
You owe me the 5 minutes of my life that I wasted reading this ****

as above....bloke sounds a tool. joins a forum for RWD cars with a car that is FWD in 99.999999% of cases, refuses to say if it is RWD and then thinks he's clever because people assume the obvious????
you might as well join a caravan club with a moped then laugh when people say a moped doesnt make a good tow vehicle......how stupid of them to not realise that you took the moped and converted it into a Toyota Hilux, the fools.

lol jesus christ get a grip guys.
Dont like it, dont read it. Pretty obvious where it was going on the first page really.
Not sure about refused, he was more like a politician and "avoided" answering it. Ther barage of abuse he got off the mark just goes to show how people react without thinking.
As I have said, some would indeed see it as trolling, me personally saw it as a little humour, and a fantastic way of shutting a few over opinionated people up for a short while.
Aaaah well, some thought it was funny. Not a complete waste of time.

Not at all - they thought he had a FWD Nova and was a tool - he did nothing to counter that opinion so they reacted accordingly. Hardly makes him the master joker he seems to think he is in the later posts.
