Wipe-clean Leather Suite
Wipe-clean Laminate flooring
(I thought tiling the walls was taking it a bit too far )
The flooring was a doddle too, I'm turning into an "Ikea Junkie"
you just have to get used to sharp corners on all your furniature

You only think it is child proof. In two weeks the children will find new ways to wreck it. Emma has discovered that a mixture of orange juice, vomit and crayola markers (you know the wipe clean ones) is perfect for staining just about everything. (including ceramic tiles)

Lee - click together unless you are going for the expensive stuff (40 quid a yard) The cheaper glue together is not manufactured to the same tolerance, so it will spread eventually. Use the membrane and foam if you are laying over a newish (less than 6 months) concrete floor. Otherwise you only really need the foam. If you get uniclick quickstep the foam has a membrane on the back. If you are doing it upstairs, you can get a sound deadening underlay from many of the floor suppliers.

I used the Ikea "Glue" stuff and it all fitted perfectly. My sister used the click stuff and had problems with it fitting and now has nasty wee gaps
Did you mean Bubble wrap for the walls or the kids

you probably spotted the house. I have been known to pull down a wall or two when the other half goes to work, then spend the last 2 hours before she gets home crapping myself and trying to get finished in time. Made the kitchen and dining room open plan when she went shopping on Saturday. Pulled down wall - plastered up edges, tidied up and relaid floor in about 6 hours. She didn't even bat an eyelid when she came home.
If the click stuff (not B&Q cheapo stuff) is properly laid, you should not get any gaps. If you **** it up you can lift it and start again. (Its harder to do wrong than right) Once the glued stuff is down, it stays there. No second chances
