Default How much is a pint near you now?

As we're all moaning about the price of fuel, houses and the general cost of living I thought I'd see if ale is was following suite where you live....

I paid a whopping £3.80 for a pint of some horrible lager in Crouch End last Saturday nigh, and my (rubbish) local have the cheek to charge £3.10 for pint of Heineken.

Another local does Stella for £2.80, which seems the average where I live.

How much is it where you are?

A very reasonable £2.40 for a pint of Grolsch in my local £2.80 is the average in town for a Stella. £3.50 at the golf club though.

£1.79 a pint of Carling in my local. 500 yards down the road, the Carling's £2.45 in an unsurprisingly, usually empty pub.

Somewhere equally nasty... Hull

The £1.79 is the local Weatherspoons. The average is £2.30ish around town.

£3.78 for 2 pints of Loddens in Weatherspoons in Staines last night.

£1.89 a pint, not bad considered my usual pubs charge £2.50+ for a pint of bitter.

Nice and Carling( standard) don't go together!

Carling Premier is nice, though. Dangerous as it goes down so easily

I have to do a bit of DIY around the house 1st.

A few cold ones later on is a distinct possibility/probability.

Most pints around 2.80

Like everything beer seems to have risen a fair bit in price, but hey the government tell us inflation is only 1.8%...

About £2.80 round here (Surrey / Hants border) for a decent real ale.

That's why I brew my own for about 50p/pint

€2.00 - about £1.40 everywhere around here (San Miguel, Cruz Campo, Alhambra or Mahou)

Guiness (if you can find it is expensive)

My local (right opposite) is literally right on the beach as well and it's still shorts and tee shirt weather

£2.50-2.60 in the sticks of scotland.

All this talk about drink prices, favourites. Me thinks a wee (working-late, honestly) visit to the pub is in order.
