Default black spider, hides in a wall and has big teeth. what is it?

probably the most common spider in the country, but i can't find any sites with pics so i thought i'd have a go on here.

i've uploaded a pic as big as i can as the photo is a bit crap (there was no way i was going to get any closer!) and i couldn't get it to focus properly. but the white things hopefully you can see are actually it's fangs (again probably normal and i'm just being a girl!!)

it's living in the wall at work and has 2 holes through the mortar that we can see, both have the funnel web. i'm interested to find out what it is because it scared the crap out of me when i was mucking about flicking the web with my car key (thinking there was nothing in there) and it leapt out, the little ******. had it's front legs out which were about 15mm long. very shiney black although the legs had maybe 1mm fine hair on.

i don't want to kill it, just find out what it is

LOL at the spider killers, personally I like the wee things as they eat flies and wasps, c'mon the spiders

Although her in doors didn't appreciate my Spiderman impression, which is jacking off in to your hand then doing a spidey web throw with the ejaculism (if that is even a real word) across her face..... I thought it was funny at the time but now I'm confined to the garage to sleep

Our house is a magnet for huge black spiders, I come face to face with one every few days and unfortunately I'm terrified of the things Every time Bob catches one he gets rid of it but still they keep appearing, I hate to think how many of them are living in the house in total

This is an amazing picture though.

http://www.hundridge.com/images/fiel...close-up-l.jpg

Imagine waking up to that, then you know you have a spider problem.

There was a house a while back in the usa who would wake up each morning in the autumn to their massive front garden being white, looking like snow at first glance.

At night, the spiders (apparently 10's of thousands of them) would start spinning, and as morning broke and the dew formed, the grass would turn white.
