anybody work in london and walk from Liverpool ST?
Hi all,
Am thinking of working in the city, the job is based at chauncery Lane station which is on the circle lane, looking into season train tickets and it would be cheaper if i got the train just to london liverpool st.
Does anybody do the same i.e get off at london liv st and walk further to work?
Cheers

It's a bit of a drag down to bank and then down and across holborn viaduct.
I'd suggest a folding commuter bike and an oyster card for when the weather's really crappy if you really want to save.

It's a nice walk in spring/summer.
Not so nice when it's freezing and whacking it down.
Good to keep fit - if you can ignore the sh1te you'll be breathing in from all the diesel black cabs that clog that area up

I used to work off Ch. Lane. Dow jones used to be down a side road, used to eat at Benji's. Liverpool St isnt far, and like everyone says, nice in the summer, but in the winter, f**k that ! After 6 months, I then moved over to a bank in Liverpool st, which is better for transport links, food, birds and more to do.
Mind you, Central Line around those stops are always packed, and on a wet morning, steamy !
Mate of mine works for Sainsburys, which is around that area too. What company you going too ?
