loud bangs in london?
Probably nothing / coincidence, but just heard two pretty loud explosions / bangs, followed at the moment by lots of police sirens.
This is farringdon way.
Anyone seen / heard anything?

That is wierd, I was in Kings Cross at 1608 and also heard two loud 'whump' type noises well above the normal tube, train, loading type noises. I was waiting to see if there were sirens or anything.
My best guess is controlled explosions.
There was a lot of emergency work on the Northern Line today.
