No, it doesn't work.

I used to sell permanent magnets a few years ago - to all sorts of industries - from fridge magnets, loud speaker magnets, magnets for electric motor to TV corrector rings (focusing) and film makers.

I gave a few magnets away to people who wanted to try this - attach magnets to the fuel system and see if it improved their economy, they promissed to let me know the outcome. No one every came back, so I guess they didn't work then!

We had a few perpetual motion nutters come in, I'd give them some samples on the understanding that once they'd made their millions, they'd buy me a pint - I'm still waiting.

Oddly enough, the bio-magnets - to wear on your wrist, do seem to help!
