Not much of a puppy now, this is Nell the bam

She's an 18 month old pedigree Border Collie who was brought up on a farm to become a Sheep dog, but she wanted to play with the sheep rather than chase them, farmer sold her to me for £50, she's a great wee pet

Ours is about 14 months old now - little black lab (working breed so quite small).
Utterly brilliant dog who is super obedient but nicely mad too!

Only recent pic is of me and her trying to do the same expression of serious boatyness on our local river - Not good but you get the idea!

dpb - yes it's the Fal (our house overlooks it) but no it's not a lugger but very similar - Cornish Crabbers Coble - Now sold for a little speed boat!

Well spotted though!

Yeah English Springer its all I have ever had, brilliant temprement but too much energy, tend to slow down at about 10 to 11 years old then just have their mad moments, so only another 8 or 9 years to go before she calms down a bit. I think they are like the chimpanzee of the canine world!
