Pregnancy
Hello all.
My wife is currently 8-9 weeks pregnant and is really showing - ie she has a bump that you would could associate with someone that's 4 months or so.
Doesn't seem to be fat as she's barely put on any weight and hasn't been eating for England.
She's slim so it probably shows more but still looks strange considering it's so early on.
Has anyone else experienced the same thing?
Not overly worried - Just can't seem to find anyone that was the same at that point in their pregnancy.

Triplets??? IMHO No idea why she is showing already but maybe your dates are wrong??? Im currently expecting my 3rd child and with all of my pregnancys i have not shown till around 12-16 weeks. every woman is different though and carry different. Im all out front again like i was with my son and have not put weight on anywhere else but my tummy is very round and large now, (baby due 03/03/08) as long as she and the baby are happy and healthy i wouldnt worry.
Best wishes to the both of you
Vicky

When I was pregnant with Hollie, I didn't start showing REALLY big until I was past 6 months. Depends on her bones. If she is petite, then she's going to show more. I have hips, so the width filled up first

To the OP - everyone is different. Is this her first child as second child can sometimes show a lot earlier than the first?
There are a load of us at work who are pregnant, all around the 16-18 week mark. I'm expecting twins but I have the smallest 'bump' (if you can call it that) than any of them with singles. I was also very sick and off work for 5 weeks with constant vomiting which possibly kept weight off, not that I would recommend this!

Being pregnant is a pain everywhere. If I had my way, I'd skip the stages after conception to the baby being about 2 months old. At least they get more interesting at that age and don't just pee, poo and puke!!
