Congestion Charge Query
Last week I had to go to Londinium on business. I was to travel down on the Tuesday evening and return on the Friday morning.
I went online and made two congestion charge payments as my hotel was in the zone and I would be leaving and entering during the qualifying times.
Because I am the greatest, my meetings finished ahead of schedule and I was able to leave on the Thursday morning instead. Which was nice.
I intended to contact CC London and explain in order to ask them to switch Fridays payment to Thursdays rather than pay a third time. Like the dunderswede I am, I forgot.
So today I receive a PCN which, if I settle by the 14th wil cost me £50...
My question for those on here with more experience of Red Kens outlandish tax is what are the chances of representation being accepted? Fridays was paid and never used so I paid twice and drove in the zone twice...
Any experiences of this kind of thing?
If there is no chance of my representation being successful, I am happy to pay up now rather than stress out over a whimsical appeal, but i wanted to sound out the great and the good on NSR

Track Day Organiser
then if you still ignore it they will increase it £150
Then the Baliff calls and charges £250
Been there done that got the T Shirt
Pay the £50 NOW and remember to do it right next time
remember you can now pay the day after if you forget to pay it on the day costs £2 more

Cheers Phil,
I have paid it. Not happy about it, but it's one less thing to worry about.
Thanks

Were you driving between 7am and 6pm while you were in London? It seems crazy that you have to pay the same to go from the boundary to your hotel as someone who drives around for 11 hours.
What a nonsense scheme it is
