Just picked up the new car.
Following the arrival of the new puppy, we decided it would be good to have a new car to put the lil fella in, complete with proper transit cage etc.
So after some searching and a tight budget, I found it.
An '00 1.8 Mondeo Estate
Its an LX, in Silver.
76k miles, years MOT
Really good condition, driver very well, clean condition. Few little extras on it like a few electrics and A/C.
All for a bargain price of £450
Down side, it needs a new tailgate and rear bumper, light rear end accident damage.
Sorted. Just need the transit cage now. Will order that asap. A snip at £400 lol

lol cheers guys
A Legacy would indeed be nice, but as has been said, running costs are that much higher, and its only getting driven a couple of times a week, and not many miles.
No pics yet, the site it was on has removed it as its not for sale now lol.
Very good Tam
Feel sorry for my mate. Came down with me to look over it as he is doing the repairs, and ended up buying a 53 plate Accord lol
Dunno about the pipe and slippers, I still have the Scooby
