Default Motorola -silver L7 - Key pad lock

Hi all,

After years of using nokia's, got myself a new L7. Whilst setting it up, Im having issues with trying to set the auto key lock.

On my old Nokia 6230i, I had it configured that after 30 seconds, the keypad would automatically lock. To unlock I would have to type the unlock + *.

Can this be done on the this L7 ?? At the moment, atfter 20 secs the screen goes to the screen saver, and thats it. I can still touch any button and the phone works ?

Tips ?

^^^^Wot they said^^^^

AFAIK It doesn't have an auto lock, so you have to do it manually all the time but you just end up getting in the habit of locking it after you've texted etc

It doesn't have auto lock and like you just said its a habit to use it all the time, unless you want your mates,parents,wife/g/f to listen to you doing something that you should not be doing

Mine does have auto lock. I eventually found it under secruity. Auto locks in 20 secs ! lovely ! :-)

Like with nokia's, can you set up contact groups, and assign different ring tones ?

Thanks for your help though.
