Pics from Lima, Cusco and Machu Picchu; Peru
The images, or rather *my* images lol, don't do the country justice, but hopefully it'll make you all a little jealous that last week you were at work whilst I wasn't taking very good images of Peru
Enjoy

hehe, more facts:
Guinea pigs are tasty
Alpaca (furry necked lamas) are cute *and* edible... and tasty too
Coca Candy and Tea are essential for the high altitude if you don't want to keel over for no apparent reason lol
Street vendors don't take no for an answer when you don't want your trainers polished, to buy post cards or paintings or take a pic of a cute kid holding a puppy. Despite the fact that they call them selves Elvis or John Travolta. And even when you say "look, just fvck off"
I'm not going to mention how good looking the local women are either
Oh yes, Machu Picchu *is* the best place to go when you have vertigo... not unlike me
First there's the single width winding road that leads up the steep side of the mountain from the train station to the hotels at the top near the site. There was 1 barrier on a corner and it was 2 way traffic
Then when you walk round machu picchu, you are constantly reminded that these people built their farms on the side of a very pointy mountain
Everywhere you walk you only have between 1 foot and 6 foot of the best hang glider take off pads any where in the world.
I'm not kidding - I just held out my camera for this one!
