Top Gear Veyron vs Typhoon with pics.
Hi 
Sal and I spent the day at RAF Coningsby yesterday watching Top Gear being filmed!
We arrived early and were lucky enough to see the BBMF Lancaster and one of the Spitfires before filming began (click on the pics to make them a size you can actually see (webby, 'ave a word!!))
Then the Bugatti appeared,
Next came the Typhoon,
And they were filmed by some helicopters which I couldn't get a decent shot of and this,
Under the Starter's orders,
At then end of a practise run,
Then things started to get heated!
The Veyron was handed its ***, freshly spanked!
It was interesting to watch but they Veyron really didn't stand a chance, I'm sure it will be well edited
The base was still operational between runs, we saw some other Typhoons,
And a Harrier landed vertically right in front of us!
I've had worse days!

Disappointed the "(I am a ) driving god" didnt crash though.
Could have got rid of him and that foul car in one swoop
Whats the bets they edit it to make the car win

The Typhoon sounded good in reheat but I still say Tonkas are better and louder! As for the Veyron, we couldn't hear it much as it was quite far away for most of the day 
We did hear it now and then when the wind was right and yes, it's impressive! Actually the distance thing was good in a way, we were probably 1/2 a mile away at times and the Veyron still looked quick!
