Default The comedy state of the Police

Bloke is run over by a police car which breaks his foot, then issued a penalty for damaging it! I mean, WTF!

police state, we are the cash cows. Issue as many fines as possible to look like you are doing a good job.

I hope he sues their ***** off, and the copper that did that should loose his job.

"Tough on crime, tough on the causes of crime" - Yeah, right!

Last night the two teen chav slags on the Traffic Police programme, one of the repeatedly kicking a copper (on film) was let of with a caution - there is just no sense to this.

The sense is that if the officer successfully says that the guy caused the damage, then the police do not get sued. That officer is in serious hot water if the victim manages to prove the copper mounted a pavement and ran him over.

if the officer is found guilty, does the issuing of the ticket trying to place blame on the pedestrian not make the officer guilty of perverting the course of justice?

Yes I think its been mentioned above, the Police are a bunch of jokers that make things up to cover there own ***(im speaking with very recent experiance) and this just goes to prove its all about blaming someone else instead of just putting there hands up and saying "yes I made a mistake" as he knows he wont live it down at the station and his superiors will repremand(SP) him.
