A mate of mine has done the same and pictured his GSD from puppy til now, and she is a big girl now.

i was thinking about a german shepherd or a siberian husky i went for the siberian husky as i wanted to train and enter into the sled dog race events

Pimmo's puppy looks like a long haired, and is a sable female from West German show lines.
So probably as far off as a similarity as possible.
Oh and it's Shepherd.

Pimmo, always have a toy on hand and replace your leg/arm for it. It does mean you'll have the toy with you everywhere you go but it'll be worth it. Don't pull on it too much though otherwise she'll lose her teeth.
Now is the time you can imprint throwing the toy for her to fetch and retrieve. It'll pass at between 16 to 20 weeks anyway so hang in there.
