Default Carvery-type pub near Birmingham/Warwick

Hello

Will be travelling back from Bolton next weekend and I was wondering if anyone knows a decent pub we can get Sunday lunch thats within 5-10 mins of the M5/M42/M40 (thats how far we should get before the baby wakes up !!!)

I know its a bit of a vague remit but maybe theres one a stones throw from the motorway somewhere in that area !!

Could try the Porridge Pot, which is on the island at junction 15 off the M40.

Other than than, the Hopwood House Inn, on the A441 off junction 2 of the M42 is supposed to be decent for food, though not sure about a carvery.

There is a Toby just off teh M5/M42 on the A38: toby carvery marlbrook bromsgrove - Google Maps

Usual Toby fair, not brilliant, but at least you know what your getting.

They seem somewhat short staffed in the waitress department, so just help yourself to the food if a waitress doesn't come along, then pay at the exit desk if you can't catch anyones attention....just a tip, otherwise you'll be waiting forever.

Just a forewarning incase your satnav takes you the wrong way: Junction 1 on the M42 only has an Entry/Entry ramp to/from the west, so if your on the M5, stay on the M5 and get off at junction 4. Ditto if you need to get back on the M5 after leaving.
