Default Best rate for the Dollar please

Looking at converting about £1500 to the dollar. Thomas Cook were doing a good rate about 2 weeks ago, but don't seem to be doing it any more.

Anyone have any good pointers as to who's doing the best rate?

Travelex pre-order is my favourite at the moment, but I thought I'd put it up to the old faithful on here. You usually come up trumps

Thanks in advance.

Cheers for that

Travelex is 1.96 (and will match the best rate I can find, apparently)

Post Office is 1.92

Thomas exchange looks like excellent rates . But how do you order your currency ???. No facility on the website to order online ???.

If you're buying in advance these are normally worth checking

Right . So unless you are unlucky enough to live in London this is totally useless .

Just got $1.97 over the old 'net with Travelex. Then got them to match the price by Thomas Exchange of $2 per £1

Chose Travelex as I can pick up from the airport when we get there to fly out.
