Here's this weeks new bike thread...
So the girlfriend is after a new bike for riding to the gym and work on. It will also be used for days out and holidays. Riding will mainly be on the road but there will also be offroad riding (read canal towpaths and marked trails, maybe the odd field or river bank - nothing too serious). How does this measure up in terms of quality and spec for th price?
Evans Cycles: Product: GT ZUM 3.0 2006 Hybrid Bike
Any other opinons or suggestions most welcome. Budget of upto £300 in case you need to know - I know what SN can be like for sticking to budgets

I'm not too sure on the bike you have posted but this bike is great

Just inside the £300 mark and had good reviews everywhere when we bought.
My wife has had one for 6 months and it is great for road use and comfy on canal banks. You would not need the suspension on the bike you link to for the use you indicate (would be more of a hinderance).
