Both my magic eyes have stopped working even though the little led's are on, I know there is a way of checking in the menu for the 9v output...can some one help out.

I just had sky+ instaled and the fitter told me that the old remote I had upstairs with a magic eye wouldn't work and I would have to use the new sky+ remote with my magic eye to work it. May not be your answer, but just a thought...

check the cable from the rf2 socket at the back of your digibox. All mine stopped working last week and my first thought was the rf output had shorted, but wasn't that. Called out sky but booked for the next day to give me chance to replace the cable that evening. Sky then decided to turn up a day early as they were in the area. £50 later - yes dodgy cable!
When however it is just a selection of your eyes not working it could be that there is not enough voltage. I have 6 magic eyes and have a power booster installed that gives it an extra kick as they are prone to stop working occasionally. Not sure where you get them from but I always use Aerial Systems(even though they have featured on house of horrors!) - great service, national coverage and they seem to do a very good job.
