Robbing! dodgy ASDA Barstewards!
i am so annoyed....
Deciding for a while about an Xbox360, finally gave in, rang up to be told "yes we have lots in stock just had a delivery".
Righto! so off i toddled down to the local asda where my mum works (discount never hurt anyone). Payed my cash took the Xbox away....
....Got it home and finally looked at it properly.
I noticed the box was a bit tatty. (not bad, but not brand new!)
Ok its probably been round numerous warehouses etc etc.
Finally opened it up, and some of the bags inside containing cables etc had been opened(how strange).
Took everything out and looked at it.
Control pad had somebodies grubby sweat on it.
Two big scratches on side of console + sticky fingermarks all over.
No Xbox live paperwork.
Turned on only to be signed into xbox live as "Wordlife*somthingorother*
"
Hmmmmmmn, (genius mode on) This isnt brand new, not happy!
So i take it back thinking theve given me a returned one by mistake, she checks it appollogises and fetches a "new" one, i ask if i could check it before i take it, "sure no problem".
Sealed box gets opened and the same, all bags torn open, scratches, etc + a clump of hair???
So this happens for another two until we get one thats looking good, ok i`ll take it.
Get it home plug it in The F*ckin hard drive doesnt work!!!!
Taking it back tonight and getting money back, will go to a respectable game shop.
Biggest question is..........
Do you think asda have there own returns team? rather than sending them off to Microsoft?
Barry n Kevin sat in a dark room "yea that one turns on , put it back in the box"
Surely they cant get in big trouble for passing off refurbished as new stock?
I Dont want to kick up a huge fuss as my mum works there, what shall i do?
Discuss!

I would email MS about this, I am sure they wouldn't be too happy about it.
I wouldn't be surprised that selling second hand good advertised as new and at full price is effectvely fraud.

Ah yes, "Chavsda", now owned by Walmart............who, when they bought it, made a big fuss about how Asda prices would be "as low as those in the USA within two years".
Anyone seen ANY sign of that yet?
I rest my case, and NEVER go there. Nor should anyone else. Robbin' American gits

Hmmm yes "Chavsda" indeed. Real gypo supermarket, the one near us seems to attract the real dregs of society, proper freaks and weirdos.
Quite why my missus likes it I've no idea but I think I may have finally converted her to Sainsburys. What pisses me off the most is getting most of the shopping, then getting to the fruit and veg section to find there's hardly anything there

Almost tempted to walk out with a 40" Hd plasma for mucking me around
might email the beeb (watchdog) and Microsoft later.
