Have you had a recent tonsil op
As per the subject, have you had a recent tonsil op?
If so, how long did you have off work if anything at all or does anyone know what the recommended time off is?
Thanks
Jules

My 3 year old had tonsils and adenoids out a couple of months ago, general anaesthetic, op took about 45 mins, overnight stay in hospital, playing with cars again the following day, sore throat for about 3 days.
That said it's meant to be considerably worse for an adult.
So it may be a few days before you're playing with your cars again.

I didn't have it recently, but I had mine out when I was 18 and it was absolutely awful
I had 2 weeks off and needed them too! However, we are all different and some people recover a lot quicker than others and only have a week off.
I felt terrible and couldn't eat properly for a week after as it was extremely sore and I got an infection and burned up, so had antibiotics, hopefully you will have a speedy recovery and not end up like I did
