transit tipper/mini digger
Anyone out there run a transit tipper and carries a 1.5 ton mini digger on the back? just wondered how this set up feels like on the road, pulls ok not to much roll, does it feel to heavy etc
Depends on what engine is in the transit tipper to how it pulls. If it was a 90, it would'nt pull well with a dinky toy 1.5t mini digger in the back. I take it you mean 'in the back' and not 'in a trailer'. Will pull even worse if its in a trailer!

Depends on what model.....not sure what is avail with the tipper bodies, but in the van 260, 280, 330, 350 meaning a total weigh(inc transit) of 2600kgs, 2800kgs, 3300kgs etc..

Trannies will take 1.5 tonnes, and tow 2 tonnes braked. But if you try it with the 90 horse you will wreck it and it will handle like a fat poodle on ice. Stick with the 125 ior 140 hp versions.
