Panel beater job vacancy....
Vacancy
Panel beater required, Southend Body Shop
Panel beater with at least 5 years experience required to work in busy independent body shop along side other panel beaters.
Successful applicant must be able to work on all makes of vehicle in a safe and time efficient manner. Applicant must be able to do jig/ measurement work.
Experience in painting and preparation will be an asset but not required.
Working hours 42.5 pw
Pay scale from £8.50 to £10.00 depending on experience.

Anyone who's a Panel beater will tell you that, but there's not a lot you can do about it, when the insurance company only pay the body shops £28 an hour
so remember that next time your car gets repaired

Appreciate the money aint all that, but im sure there is room for negotiation. Its more based on the fact he has just bought the business and some of the staff have not seen pay rises for TEN years!!!
So I think the idea is to stagger any increases so no ones nose gets put out of joint.
Like I say, im not the actual employer, so cant comment or negotiate, but if anyone is interested, wants to indicate the "expected" pay band etc I can get back to him and see what he says.
