Why oh why is my inbox(spam) totally bombarded with: get a hard dick or cheap viagra or please give us your bank details etc etc.i feel as though i want to send abuse of the strongest kind back as a reply but know it will expose my email as been correct..anyone else done it?

you will usually find that replying to the spammers address doesn't work it gets bounced as user unknown.

I have the same problem, about 200 mails per day concerning my erectile tissue problem

I also get about 100 a day - I once got one from me which was worrying!
Most of mine relate to rather filthy **** concepts

The fact they dont get an error back means your email account is known, sold on and reused.

I use a "spare" email account when signing up to anything where I think spam might be an issue.

I like spam fritters though.

Unfortunately a way of life these days. My Yahoo account gets 100s and 100s a day, although Yahoo does do a good job of filtering them out and I see very few.

They range from your (somewhat tame) Erectile dysfunction, Lottery Wins, Scans for Money, Breast enhancements (!) to the more specialist sites (Clown **** anyone?).

Owning a few domains I was getting about 10k spam emails a week.

I had to resort to an on-line "live" white list:

Best £4.00 per year I've ever spent. I can now use my email again.

Just put an IronMail server in at work, getting 1000's upon 1000's stopped per day!
