How odd...........I've just been listening to a couple of 60's tracks: "Crimson and Clover", by Tommy James and the Shondells, and that great fairground classic, "Time is Tight", by Booker T and the MGs

We do! There's always a back catalogue. Young people make music that's relevant to them, that's all.

A 'can of worms' this one

Green Onions is a great tune.

But so is Magick by The Klaxons, circa 2007, though in a completely different way. To say 'they don't make music like they used to' is a mute point surely?

Of course they don't.. why should they?

ps... if you like that sort of stuff check out Mark Ronson's album Version. Retro chic with a post modern twist...

Those of us of a certain age were brought up on music like Booker T.

But heh...... there's some great stuff going on today - like the Spice Girls new tour

Hey up UB. You mean moot point surely What I meant was there seems to be a surfeit of quantity over quality these days. Too many 'wannabes' and not enough who want to make music because they love it.
