If that van was a diesel and enough water got into the intake, there may well be bits of engine on the floor when the flood recedes 
A guy over on Briskoda "hydraulic'd" his and showed a nice pic of a piston sized hole in the side of his block. Air compresses well, water not so well

When a pig pulled me the other week because he did not like my driving style, he said i can not handle all that power and HE IS A BETTER DRIVER THEN ME because he does a 3 week driving corse.

I was in a restaurant in Hale once and saw a Police van turn round and remove the side of a Merc, he got a standing ovation as it was summer and loads of people about, anyway, I was speeding on the way home and got nicked by a very narky copper in a battered van, he was a right **** with me, dead unpleasant and I was being all nice and helpful and apologetic, I got p1ssed off with him after he had pulled my (immaculate) car apart looking for faults and said he was just having a go cos he took the side of the Merc of in Hale earlier, wasnt impressed but there was now he could do me for.

To all who thought this was funny - good job they weren't on the way to a call you'd just put in cos somebody was in your house beating the **** out of you.
No. They would tell you to let him go and they would turn up a week or two later to take a statement.
