What Brun?

I collect, make and very occasionally sell custom made knives.

I can tell you now, that collection isn't mine sadly. Their all antique and worth a small fortune.

I quite like knives, though I'm not a collector. I never carry one, either, not even in my trade as a joiner. The sharpness of tools always fascinated me as a little boy. I could spend ages whittling a stick down to nothing once my dad had sharpened my penknife. My Dad's sheath knife is my favourite, now. It will be 60 years old, this year (approximately).

For me its form, function and metrology.

There are some stunning metalsmiths/ cutlers in this country, even with the demise of Sheffield.

I know what youe mean Bubba, I wish I had'nt broken my grandad's folder. I'd love to restore it now, amazing how 20 years can change your views on things.
