AND, if you get from Empire Direct and buy an extras card for £20 you get 5 years guarantee.

They were also doing 10% off but I think thats finished. I got a 42PX70 with 5 years for £764

Panasonic TH50PX70PED Plasma 50" 16:9 Viera Hd Ready Ped. St | EmpireDirect.co.uk Electrical Appliances

try "EV3562" username "10percent" although I think its finished.

just another quick question but with plasma screen tv's does it really matter what scart lead they have in them because when in comet last night she tried to sell me one for £120 saying the more they cost the better picture quality it is. is this true or is she trying to take the mick????

Depends who you listen to, some people are adament that a good gold scart can make a whole lot of difference. Others say a 1.99 from asda does the job just fine. Personally I would spend approx £30on one.

Also, unless you have a massive living room, go for a decent 42". A 50" could look far to big in most rooms.

we got a "50 samsung plasma from curry's for 900 i think it was its being delivered on monday

it seems that the people in comet are just trying to get you to spend more money afterall last year i went in for a tv bracket they tried to sell me the most expensive on in the shop at £300!! i walked out and got a equally as good one off ebay for £40.
