Anyone with Nokia N95?
I am looking for an in-car holder for my Nokia N95, been searching around the net but most seem to be suck on ones or ones you stick on your dash, neither of which I really want.
I was trying to find one that clamps to the air vent or something, anyone got any suggestions?

ah thanks for that, I will take a closer look, and that one can clip on the air vent, yes? (Just doesn't mention it that’s all).
Regarding the phone, yea I like it. I have only had it just over a month but so far no probs. The battery could be better though, but I guess you can’t have everything?!?!?
I have just paid £5 something for 30 days "voice navigation" seems to work ok, will be better once got a mount so it has a better line of sight through the windscreen because I have just been messing about with it and had it down by the gear stick area.
Other functions all seemed to be ok too, got the wireless working through my router at home, few other apps I have put on it work fine too so yea, all in all not a bad phone at all!
What do you think of yours? (Assuming you have one)

it doesnt mention it but the kit is in the box for it to attach. I think the phone is great, my battery got better after a few full charges but if your using the sat nav you need an in car charger. The camera is great as well, cant really fault it at the moment to be honest

Yep got the maps. At first I couldn't get the 'voice' navigation to work after purchasing it but later found out I had to download that too. I just done this by connecting it to my wireless then plan a route and start navigation, it then prompted me to download the voice option and then worked
I beleive my battery has also got better as time has gone on.
Camera is also good, however I think the video could have been made a little better as it goes pixelised when you zoom in a little, but hey ho, it's still a cracking phone!
Do you happen to know if the charger fits in the phone ok while it's in that car holder? This would be handy so the phone can stay plugged in while using sat nav.

I admit 52 quid for a phone holder is a bit steep but like I said, you wont do better. You might do cheaper - a lot cheaper, but not better
Theres a link to a radio mute kit which is 90 quid for my peugeot!!!!!

Ah yes, I have came across those holders but I am not convinced they will fit my car (I currently have a Civic Type R) and by the looks of it the holder clips into the space surrounding the vents?

Er
http://www.play.com/Mobiles/Mobile/4...B/Product.html
Cheaper than ebay
Thats the one I use and have had no problems.
once you have it, slot it in the phone, go to memory card options and format.
then you can use the map loader. Be warned, it takes AGES to transfer the uk map.
Took over 3 hours to transfer england, wales, ireland, scotland, new york and new jersey onto mine.
The plus side is it perfectly and quickly with them installed on the card, and saves on hideous roaming charges.

My N95 came with a 1Gb card, sure you ain't got one in the box somewhere? it is rather small!
I found the quickest way to load the maps on mine was to take the memory card out of the phone and plug it in a card reader (have one built into my printer) so if you have the option to do this it will be quicker as mine only took a few mins to load the England map
