My mum always tried to get me to watch Swap Shop, though it very rarely worked.
You'd never get away with half the stuff they did back then nowadays.

He's my uncle - and bless you for remembering him! I think he was only in the last series, and also did a CB-owning nerd character.
The parrot (Venezuelan Flocking Parrot) is still with him, though he hasn't performed for years following a stroke about 8 years ago. It was a cool thing to be able to cite as a child - especially when he appeared on the royal variety performance.
I used to have Tiswas T-shirts, badges etc all over the place, must see if my parents still have them.....

The parrot (Venezuelan Flocking Parrot) is still with him, though he hasn't performed for years following a stroke about 8 years ago. It was a cool thing to be able to cite as a child - especially when he appeared on the royal variety performance.

powerwrx - Trev's very complimentary about your dad - he's been a terrific help keeping an eye on him / making him cups of tea etc. And it's good to hear he's still making others laugh - ask him about the plant labels he takes to garden centres with him
