Default Accident claims?

18 months ago I was hit by another car and through the MIB I am claiming for injury. I have just finished the physio and waiting a payout.

6 months ago I was hit again by another car and this aggravated the injury I had already.

None of the insurance co's are aware of the other accident.

Q- The 2nd co are offering physio which I don't require as I have just finished sessions that the MIB paid for, so do I now explain this to them or could it affect the claim? as no doubt they will insist the 2nd accident had no bearing on my injuries. Or do I have unnecessary physio?

1st thing is to stop being so unlucky.

2nd. Be open and honest with insurance as any non-disclosure tends to wipe out an liabilty from your insurers.

No-one will force you to have the physio BUT it may be a failure to mitigate on your part if you subsequently do not make a rapid recovery.

If it has aggravated your injury then perhaps you do need physio. My advice would be to tell them about your injury from before, tell them the accident has now set your recovery back 6 months and take the physio.
Would you prefer to tell them you are alright and have to pay private yourself in future?
Not trying to sound like the 2 claims people from shameless (if you have never watched it, it's worth a laugh) but it's not your fault and the job of insurance companies is to put you back in the position you were in before.

People are missing my point.

I don't require any physio now, as the last lot of physio rectified the injuries from both accidents.

To clarify, if I do tell the 2nd company aqbout my previous accident, could they say "their" accident was minor in comparison to the first (which it was) and therefore not accept I was injured any more than initially ?

I just want to get the claims sorted and fear further delays and problems, with accepting liability when everything could be fairly simple if I keep my lips shut.
