Nurburgring route by Navman
Anyone been recently and used a Navman or TomTom to get them there?
I went a couple of years ago and used the instructions on Ben Lovejoys' site along with a map of Europe. It was ok but there were 2 of us in the car.
This time, i'm lead car and on my own in the car so thought I'd use the Navman. I put Nurburg as the destination but the unit pops up with either and out of memory message - or no route available message when calculating the route.
Anyone know of a workaround?

real easy. i did it on a bike with no sat nav!
Get the directions from multimap and head for the motorways. There are very few turns. The only real issue is the Brussels ring road! However most of the big cities are signed so keep heading for the next on your checklist along what ever E road you need. Autobahn runs right past it!

We use the route which goes past Verviers and then turn off the E42 at Prum. If you put via Gerolstein it brings you in near the GP circuit.
