HELP!! Can you solve the mystery....
Spotted while out today on the A127.
GIL OK, or maybe she aint!
The boot has 2 suitcases in it, and is tied down, but very wide open with string.
The cases fit well within the boot, so they are not causing it not to close. And the string is VERY slack, which would not be the case if the catch was knackered, they would have done it closer.
So......
Is the latch knackered, and they just did a poor job of tying it closed..
OR
Was there something on top of those cases, which is now on the A125 or M25 somewhere lol
You decide!

The suitcases are probably fouling the boot support brackets/hinges!
The white bit on the RHS immediately above the rear lamp cluster is the arm that holds the boot lid.
Similar on the LHS, but is obscured by what looks like the spare wheel.
Of maybe you are right, an Leanne Battersby is lying on the motorway somewhere

From the way the boot lid was bouncing up and down, almost closing im reckoning that there was something in there.
The hinge could indeed foul the luggage, but I still reckon something went amiss lol

This is the economy version. When she slows down the string will wind in & lower the boot for low speed cruising.
