Gateway 9300 DVD software..can't find it

I've (foolishly) agreed to rebuild my brothers Gateway 9300 laptop with Windows 2000, install done, got the drivers etc installed. I can't see anywhere on the Gateway site a download link for the DVD player software...The recovery disk has no dvd software for this model on either.
Anyone know what software came as standard, or of a good free app that I can download..I need this ready for him in the morning

Gateway supply a separate white CD with DVD software rebadged as theirs. CineMaster or something.
They did a year ago anyway.

PS: And you need to go into control panel to flick from region 1 to 2 - took me ages to suss that, DOH!
