Hiring something a little more "interesting" Milan
Checked the holidayautos list for a six day stay two hours south of Milan in July and noticed that as you go down the list the cars start to get very interesting, with a Gallardo being a £10k option!!
Not thinking a anything quite so daft but a Range Rover (the place we are staying is VERY off road - last hire car nearly collapsed!) or similar (need four seats and a boot) could be fun
Anyone done similar at all? Seems a shame to "waste" such good roads but need to be sensible cost wise.

I'm hiring the cheapest i can (with aircon) when i go to tuscany next month.. Right out in the middle of no where.. it'll be like the rally catulunya
Fiesta is £200 for 10 Days
I'll save the rest of my money for Police Bribes
Where have you been looking to hire from?

Avi - I only looked at Holidayautos and a couple of local firms (via that moneysupermarket.com site).
Might take the middle ground and hire a fairly big standard 4x4 like an X Trail.
Hired one before and it was suprisingly good!
