HSBC fraud dept.
Has HSBC tightened up its fraud detection criteria recently ?
3 times now in the last few weeks they have called to ask if recent transactions were mine or not. While I appreciate them being pro-active the first time it happened I didn't get their message they left on my mobile & they stopped my debit card.
Apparantly if a certain number of transactions go through in one day it flags it as perhaps a stolen card & they call to check. I am sure this number has been lowered recently.
Not a winge - at least they are making the effort - just an observation.
