Impreza on TV last night and insurance fraud
#1
Anybody spot the Impreza in the car park as the camera panned past on the car insurance fraud program last night? It was sonic blue with it's mirrors folded back and a big wing - maybe an STI V Type R.
Back to the program though. Did you know that 40% of whiplash claims are bogus!? Shame on these people among others (phantom passengers, staged accidents etc) for forcing up everyone else's insurance. Just maybe we need more fraud investigators if it takes a TV reporter to find these sort of people out and expose them for what they really are... Why don't insurance companies employ more people to do this?

I noticed the scoob too, which was a bright moment amongst an otherwise irritating programme.
As for the fraudsters well....insurance co's ought to be able to catch people that were this amateurish.
But why do they need to when they can just pass the fraud cost on to you and me.

Guys,
they try, but its a balancing act.
PIs are not cheap, and take time to get results, then what?
Last night they just exposed them, so they had spent money and got none back. You would need to take them to court to get the money back.
Not being racist here, but you saw last night that they just make a name up, or one of the classics that they use is "no hes left the country now".
