I've been guilty of this, but not for about 10 years. The pub I used to drink in got stupidly busy on a Friday night and it'd take about 45 mins to get served! I just used to have a look at what bottled beer they had in the fridge, then pop to the shop next door and buy one of the same whenever I was "empty". You'd never get caught as the front garden in the pub was so full it used to over-spill to outside the shop anyway

Only place I've smuggled drink into was a park in Canada (it's illegal in all public parks in Ontario).

As for pubs, if I couldn't afford to buy, I'd stay in.

I took my 85 year old grandmother to Singapore one time. We were having dinner in Raffles and she ordered two glasses of coke. She then proceeded to take a bottle of duty free vodka from her handbag to top our glasses up. How the hell we didn't get kicked out I don't know !

I was skint when in my late teens as I had my own flat. I used to sneak booze into the pub in my belly.... in fact it's still worth a punt !!!

Sounds a bit pikey to me, although the prices I pay round here for a pint of coke 2.80 in some places, I guess the robbin bastids can afford to lose a few quid

id never pay the prices for cinema goodies (ok maybe a drink), and always buy from the nearby woolworths beofre going in. get the mrs to take her "big" handbag, and stuff with sweet prioer to film starting.
