A sign that nothing's changed ....
.... in the brave new world of Nu Labia, where the mantra is 'do as I say, not as I do' ....
BBC NEWS | Politics | Brown will not block secrecy bid
"Gordon Brown has rejected calls to block a controversial move by MPs to get out of freedom of information laws"
and later "... Mr Brown, who takes over as Labour leader and prime minister next month, has pledged more "open" politics" ....
As I said, nothing changes. However, *IF* things change greatly, were the *changes8 in the Labour manifesto at the last election? If not then there needs to be a general election as he/Nu Labia don't have a mandate. Not that that will change anything ...

Besides that - thats another thing today thats REALLY "annoyed me".
How in hell can MP's demand exclusion from FOI, when the Security Service (MI5), Secret Intelligence Service (MI6), the police, and the Armed Forces must comply??
FOI is potentially a serious threat to national security when applied to the organisations I've mentioned - the only reason MP's want it is so that they don't have to admit how much public money they've squandered on expense accounts.
