I've noticed around Nottingham that alot of cars, not necessarily the Max Power dudes, are driving around with small neon blue lights on the bonnet. Placed roughly where a scoob scoop is fitted. What's that all about

Are they blue LED's on the screen washer nozzles. Saw a car driving around with these a few weeks ago which I found most amusing.
Do they do it to get attention or something? They would get the same attention writing "I am a tw@t" down the side of the car.

So it's already spread nationwide then?
Each to thier own I suppose. I thought initially it was a Max Power Xmas thing but i've seen all sorts of normal cars with it on.
Gotta agree, it don't look that good. I prefer my xmas tree on the dash plugged into me *** lighter ( JOKE ) with tinsel wrapped around my aerial

Christmas decorations?
Or is it a sh1te attempt at making people in front think "Oooh, blue lights, I'd better get out of their way then"?
Muppets
Mind you, some of those nice flashy ones that plod has would help cut through the traffic queueues. Hmmmmm

Those stick on carbon fibre race style filler caps make me laugh too. What on earth posseses people to stick these on?
My brothers friend has a J reg Golf GTi with one of these on as well as the VW Sport (what sport?) sticker in the back window and copious amounts of plastic spoilers bolted to it. He says my Impreza looks boring and he would rather have his car!

Any other "cosmetic" mods that make you giggle? Please don't turn this into a Max Power slag off session, i just want to know if anyone else looks at modded cars and giggles in a " what's the point" type of way.
I've got loads of stickers on my car, you know, Subaru windscreen strip, TSL logo on the fuel cap, TSL web site stickers across the top of my rear window, prodrive stickers on my front spliter and under my repeaters and of course my scooby doo sticker and union jack on the boot lid.
Therefore, i feel qualified to giggle at other people, cos i'm sure they laff at me

My absolute favourite hate without question is quad headlight covers!
people who put black out sections over square lights to make their car "look" like it has quad headlamps! ruin your visiblity and dont for a second look remotelu like the real conversin has been done.

The best one EVER is fake plastic rear discs for cars with rear drum brakes
They've even got drilled and grooved markings on them
Seen some on a car near me, they fit between the drum and the wheel but there's not even a fake calliper on them!
Fu**in' Class!

I like the 'ignition kill switch' that is in fact a cigarette lighter and plugs into the *** lighter socket. (I think it's a 'Richbrook Styling' job, or is it 'Richard Grant Mouldings'?)

Could it be that they were collecting there xmas tree, decided to put some lights on it for the trip home, and the tree fell off, on the journey home.
Any other reason for them being on their would suggest they were TW@TS

Fake Discs.....
Forgot about those, they are absolute howlers, seen some on another Sierra as it happens, but this one was trying to be a Cossie.
The finest piece of polished crap I'd ever had the fortune to laugh out loud at.

I saw someone who had taken the time to put lights UNDER the car!! The lights were a ultra violet and shone down onto the road.
Fitted to a Pug, I thought that was highly amussing.

Those are 'cruising lights' dude!!
Used to have them on customised Ford pops at the Chelsea cruises on a Friady night years ago.....originally designed to show off the Jag IRS rear ends, jacked up a foot in the air!!!
LOL!!!
I'd like to get some of those red 'scanning LEDs like on Knight Rider....they'd look cool (not)

I've seen those around gazza
I always wonder how they don't get smashed by stones though
If they were behind a grid, the stones etc could still get through, if it was made of fine mesh, then it wouldn't be robust enough, if it was robust and fine, it would not be see through and thus defaet the whole point

Think they are washer jets with LED's in them, have seen them in Max Power, plus on the odd car. Personally I prefer the interior mini blue lights, which I had way before the MP krew started using them!

A while ago I called in at the local Halfords, for some (ahem) cleaning products. Went out to the scoob and was sat in the car sorting out the stereo etc when this matt-black diy-aerosol-paintjob fiesta mkII came thudding across the carpark. He parked up like 3 spaces away, killed the engine and said something to Sharon in the pax seat. Then he reaches over and flicks a little switch on the dash, with a really purposeful look on his face - I was half expecting the thing to sprout wings and maybe go for a vertical takeoff.
All of a sudden I'm blinded. I'm not exaggerating, about 100 of those little blue LEDs were scattered around the car - down the sills, on the bonnet, roof, doors, aerial, fuel cap - you name it. And the lad just sat there staring at me with a totally serious expression on his face for ages. I think he was still staring at me when I could see again, after wiping the tears of laughter from my eyes.
Priceless. Brightened up my whole day (literally in fact)
