Some advice please
I have been trying to get a few cars together for a charity car show https://www.scoobynet.com/northern-2...ser-event.html but I am quite disappointed in the response to my threads.
Has any one got any advice on how I might attract a bit more interest to the car show.
Before some one says it naked birds is out of the question as children will be there.
The show will only be on for a few hours and it only starts at 12 mid day
Any advice would be gratefully received
Thanks ian

IMHO
Looked at the link
The wording is not right.
Your ad just reads 'FUNDRAISER EVENT' so may wel switch off a lot even before they have read the body text.
Try something like 'Get to show off your cars and raise money for a worthy cause'
The 'car show' looks like an after thought, make something of it with the wording, great opportunity to show of your pride and joy, help raise money for a school project to help underpriviliged children, etc. Mention press, contact the local press (TV, radio & rags) and tell them what is going on as well. Mentioning kids usualy pulls at people heartstrings so get that in as required.
You need to sell the idea and the benefits and attract people to help, yes it is for charity but it has to appeal as you are asking for people to give up their leisure (quality) time.
