Roma children flood into Slough
BBC NEWS | England | Berkshire | Roma children flood into Slough
A Berkshire town has been struggling to cope with nearly 90 children who have arrived unaccompanied from Eastern Europe.
The Roma children, one as young as ten, have apparently paid someone in Romania to send them to Slough.
The Borough Council does not know why it has been singled out but has been forced to set up a special team and spend £150,000 helping the children.
£150k spent, just like that - thanks so much for coming

Those air -conditioned, bright canteens,
Tinned fruit, tinned meat, tinned milk, tinned beans,
Tinned minds, tinned breath.
Mess up the mess they call a town-
A house for ninety-seven down
And once a week a half a crown
For twenty years.
And get that man with double chin
Who'll always cheat and always win,
Who washes his repulsive skin
In women's tears:
And smash his desk of polished oak
And smash his hands so used to stroke
And stop his boring dirty joke
And make him yell.
But spare the bald young clerks who add
The profits of the stinking cad;
It's not their fault that they are mad,
They've tasted Hell.
It's not their fault they do not know
The birdsong from the radio,
It's not their fault they often go
To Maidenhead
And talk of sport and makes of cars
In various bogus-Tudor bars
And daren't look up and see the stars
But belch instead.
In labour-saving homes, with care
Their wives frizz out peroxide hair
And dry it in synthetic air
And paint their nails.
Come, friendly bombs and fall on Slough
To get it ready for the plough.
The cabbages are coming now;
The earth exhales.

This is a very difficult matter of course. I don't know how old these children are or where they got the money to pay for their passage here. I certainly don't think you can blame the children for trying to maintain their own existence but the important question is who is responsible for setting this all up and who are the people who smuggled them in.
It is long past time when we should have had a strong response from those in authority to start to police our borders effectively and to get a grip on controlling immigration properly.

I bet these these kids were like,
"This wasn't in the Brochure!!!"
To be honest, look at it this way. As drivers we should all be happy and grateful for these Kids coming to Slough as now we will all have clean Wind screens at the Traffic lights!
