Unhappy Thursday 10th May - Historic Day - Tony Blair Steps Down

Historic day and a sad one for all those who realise what the history books will show .........

One of our Greatest Leaders of all time will be announcing his retirement ......

A tragic loss for the country - will we ever see his like again? Certainly, I cannot see any Leadership qualities in the options before us

Thank You for Leading us away from the disasters of the previous administration and showing us the future ....

May your God go with you ......

Pete,

I thought about a mature and reasoned argument as to why Blair is not worthy of a mention in Viz magazine, let alone any glowing reference in the "history books", but then I thought why bother waste more than a moment of my time on the tosser.

So I settled for this instead:-

Pete, **** off

One thing we can agree on Pete - if all the Labour voters didn't think they were indirectly responsible for the current state of the country before, you can certainly start after tomorrow. Thanks to "your" actions, we'll now have Mr Brown.

However, in your defence, there aren't any decent leaders - they're all scum. Still, why break the mould eh?

But she was in power until 1990. Enough time for anyone now in their "late thirties" to remember her.

Edited to agree with Geesta!

You can go and vote for ALL the canditates .... or spoil your paper .... at least go and make your mark!

You have disappointed me, I cannot for one moment believe that you have no opinions or dreams or desires you want some party to deliver to you??

I cannot believe that you NEVER moan about Politics either - and to have the right to moan dictates that you make some effort to influence the power selection process ..............

LOL

Pete, can't you count ?

I was 11 in 1979 (as you well know) and became perfectly aware of what was happening to the country throughout my teens and over the many, many years that followed under a Conservative government.

I have also been perfectly aware of where it has all gone wrong in the ten years since 1997.

Sad as it is to say, he has much of Scotland to thank for that - their position in Scotland has always been a great part of their strength.

But no more. The Scots have finally woken up to the truth, and Labour has suffered its worst results in Scotland since that fatefull day in 1997.

I think you'll find that they took a fair kicking in England as well.

Hardly the legacy of such a "great" leader.

Not my opinion Pete, but the opinion of the British electorate.

How many seats (Parliament and Council) did labour lose last week. Remind us all again?

Great leader my ****

Of course the best part is, this is all bollocks, isn't it? You're no more a labour voter than Webbie Shaun is a member of mensa....

do what 5% of voters do and **** your voting form up, that way you can pay homage to the lily maxwell and also giggle quietly when they anounce "LABOUR 25,543, LIB-DEB 3032, CONSERVATIVE 38, BNP 1011, UKIP 12, SPOILT PAPERS 166"

They were enjoyable teenage years then - studying politics

Nah, you didn't have a clue what was going on - had no Mortgage, didn't pay any bills, didn't earn any money, didn't pay Poll Tax ......... all you did was play with your Power Rangers

15% Interest Rates mean anything to you??? No, thought not

Like I said ...................... not a clue!

I put you at older than 18 ..................... being younger than 18 is the ONLY reason why someone shouldn't vote!

Sorry, sitting on your **** is not a valid reason for not voting .... and, in truth, thats exactly what you are doing ... disguising laziness under a cloak of 'no-one deserves my vote' line.

Doesn't wash with me, sorry, I'm too old for that ..... I'm disappointed in you

Actually bad example, the sponger family probably pays far less than me seeing as none of them work and they can live on handouts from the state - w@nkers.

The only people who objected to the poll tax are the ones who think they should be allowed to pay ****-all to their local authority, they'll never be happy as long as they have to pay 'something'.

This government have been the most intrusive, grabbing bunch of wasters. Blair going is a Godsend, but what is going in after him, ie. Brown, is about as much use as a rubber crutch to a man with a broken leg
Good riddance

Good riddance to the man who took a country to war and opened the floodgates to thousands of illegal immigrants.
The mandate of any PM is to protect and improve the country - neither of which Bliar has achieved.

I`m an officer now so can sleep in my own bed and watch my own telly at your expense. 2nd or 3rd job? well if tony and his cronies recognised us AND ALL other public sector workers and paid a decent wage, not squandered it on consultants and this biggest waste of public cash DEFENCE then such a thing would not be necessary. by the way most NHS doctors do a stint at BUPA after hours, would you challenge them about second job? dont think so.
