TomTom or similar
Hi, looking to get some form of sat nav, are TomToms the best way to go or is there something better. Seen the road angel which includes camera detection for £179. Looking to spend £200, maybe a little more if I have to. Only need to use it in this country.
Any thoughts or opinions appreciated.
Thanks

If you just want a plug and play system I don't think you can go far wrong with the tom tom one, my other half has the basic model and it notify's you of up coming speed cameras etc, think it costs about £140 as well so quite cheap

Bought a Tom Tom on Saturday. Came with free speed camera locations which you first have to download. Works fine.
However the real test will be next weekend when I travel from Derby to North Yorkshire on Fri then to Sheffield on Sat (stag weekend ). Both Hotel addresses have been saved into the Itinery. Hopefully it will get me there although I'll take written instructions as backup!
Paid £149 from Currys. I've since seen them in Comet with a free carry case worth £20.
