171 transactions on eBAY...
...100% feedback and it looks like I'm about to get stiffed for the first time.
Somebody bought some goods off me back in March. Sent to the registered PayPal address, positive feedback left for me and now today I get an email from PayPal saying they are initiating a credit card chargeback. Guess PayPal will be taking the money back off me in due course.
Yes it's genuine, I logged on to PayPal the normal way and went to the resolution centre.

have they not opened a dispute or gave a reason?? sounds quite strange that they would do this now as you only have 60days from when you have bought a item to report it as not being as it says in the listing.

What do you mean 'anymore' Paul Ebay in my experience have never give a ****
As a matter of policy I never accept Paypal payment as a seller Apart from the fact that their charges are bordering on theft, it's just to risky
Take the dispute up with your Credit Card company, if you have proof that the goods were received OK, they should stop Paypal stealing the money.
Firstly though, has there been a dispute initiated that you have failed to address
Will a Plus member please infract this post If this isn't trolling I don't know what is

It would seem that Paypal charged the purchase to somebodyelse's credit card. The original purchaser has said his card was never charged and has told paypal to just put the charge through.

Come to think of it I think I do know who you are , aren't you the chap who sold something on here but never posted it, claiming they you couldn't get to a post office for 3 months or something?

Its ridiculus the government thinking they can tax us on the odd bit of money being made on ebay
In my case its generally a loss, as the stuff I sell is stuff I paid full price for new, and some years down the line I am now selling
I paid tax on my earnt salary, and paid VAT on the goods I bought, pay VAT to ebay etc, paypal fees postage etc etc
I have made a loss, so I should claim a tax refund lol
If / When the government start taxing ebayers, I think it will be time to go down the old car boot and sell stuff there (all cash no record of any transactions )
