Where to go for cheap flights?

Hi,
Got a few Spanish friends in our house at uni. and a couple of them asked me if I wanted to stay in Valencia for New Years.
Only problem is finding cheap flights. They seem to vary from £150 - £700+, believe it or not.
So, anyone know of a good website that offers cheap flights to Valencia (preferably direct, as know very little Spanish and so would get lost and scared).

www.travelocity.co.uk but £150 sounds good to fly anywhere festive time.... book it now, it'll only get more expensive.
