Worst Customer Service Award Goes To ...
..... who would YOU nominate??
and, while we are at it - who gives the BEST Customer Service?
Currently, I have no burning issues .... in the past the worst has been LG
The best probably ARGOS - they do not argue, swap an item without issue
So, my offering - to kick things off:-
BEST - ARGOS
WORST - LG

You really are shallow lewis
you slagged LG off somthing rotten in earlier posts, yet go and buy a new TV from them... now either your a wind up merchant (which we all know you are) or your a glutton for punishment!!!!
i only ever had one really bad AV experience, and that was with Hitachi back in the 80,s.........(a duff video recorder)
Ive never bought any products from them since!!!

Worst for me by HUGE margin - B&Q...an absolute travesty of an 'organisation', just awful!!!
Bought a kitcehn in Jan 07, still waiting for parts 4 months later......absolute set of useless muppets, please avoid at all costs!!

I however have had good service from B&Q - As a trade customer they have been really helpful.
And their errors always go my way - A customer gave me a brand new light fitting that they bought 18months prior from B&Q for circa 20 squid but never had fitted.
They gave it me to save them binning it. I took it to B&Q the next time I was near one and got a credit note for £65 for it
Worst service = Any utility company!

Best - Argos
Worst - 3mobile {couldn't organise a pee up in a brewery }
However I am not against bad service as it enables the 'free' next thing or money off, free delivery etc as compensation for their utter shambles of service so everything has its use.

Best: Various Subaru dealers, for recovering my service history free of charge.
Worst: Liverpool & Victoria for losing the Service History in the first place and doing nothing about my claim unless they were badgered daily.

Best:- Virgin Media/NTL/Telewest - before you laugh, we've had our fair share of problems with them, but whenever I phone up to complain they bend over backwards to help. Funnily enough, since it became VM the twice i've called has resulted in our bills being reduced by £30 per month and tv/broadband package being upped to the best package lol.
Worst:- Orange!! Even though I used to work for this bunch of incompetent fools, believe me, staff get treat NO better. Sitting on hold, listening to the same music that hasn't been changed for months on end, and the whole 'Orange is dedicated to excellent customer service' blah blah blah.
And that was what I listened to at work, as well as when I had probs with my contract!!
Anyhoo, rant over, you get the picture lol

Worst (by a country mile): Argos....online order. Duplicated our order, charged us accordingly then took more than 2 months to collect and refused to refund until the product was back in their possession despite 10's of phone calls ranging from nice to nasty. Utterly, utterly useless!!
